Here we list the best of Sydney’s local markets in the east and in and around the City of Sydney.

The Rocks Markets, starts at the end of George Street, head to the Sydney Harbour Bridge

WHEN: Every weekend

They call it the “Maker’s Market” where everything is designed and handmade showcasing some of our most talented creatives and bringing them all to one special area. Located 5 minutes walk from Circular Quay, get off the Light Rail at the end of the line and follow George Street until you hit the markets. The markets then wind around the cobbled stone streets of historical colonial Sydney. You will find anything and everything from eclectic handcrafted goods to beautiful local jewellery makers, wood carvers and handmade local cosmetics with all-natural products. There’s so much to see and collect from The Rocks markets.

The Rocks also has a night market on Fridays from 4pm to 9pm.  There’s a focus on supporting smaller local chefs, makers and creatives all under the twinkling magic of fairy lights. Start your weekend off early in Sydney’s oldest and most charming precincts, relax and enjoy some yummy foodie treats and listen to live music from some of our most talented local artists.
